Problem Note 48495: Generating store groups might fail when specifying more than two classification attributes
In SAS® Size Profiling, when specifying any combination of more than two store grouping classification attributes on the Store Classification Attributes dialog box, the Generate Store Groups process might fail. This applies to mandatory and/or optional store grouping classification attributes.
When this issue occurs, you receive the following Message Details:
ERROR: An internal error has occurred while performing store group generation.
Please see the log or contact your software administrator.
ERROR: And internal error has occurred while processing your request.
Please see the log or contact your software administrator.
ERROR: A fatal error was encountered while processing the STP request.
Please contact your system administrator and check the log files.
When this issue occurs, errors similar to the following might be found in the stored process server log:
ERROR: An output data set cannot contain two variables with the same name.
ERROR: An error occurred in the model fitting step.
ERROR: Could not generate a model for store grouping for profiling project 5, sizeset 1.
ERROR: An error occurred in the store classification process for profiling project 5, sizeset 1.
The workaround for this issue is to set the following parameter values in the PRF_CONFIG table:
- training_p = 1
- validation_p = 0
- testing_p = 0
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
